Horrendous : iConvert Instant Slide & Negative Scanner
The iConverter was easy to set up and use. Unfortunately, if you are finding for something to contribute a potential scan of your old slides and negatives for reprint, this is a goods to be avoided. If you just want to keep your memories, you might be satisfied with this scanner.
For starters, most slides fit in the tray, but if they had made it a fraction of an inch larger, it would fit all slides.
Images come over as very grainy and color is very compromised using this device. Slides are not as bad, but 35mm negatives are horrendous. The colors are so inaccurate that there is diminutive to anyone that can be done in photoshop to strict it with out seriously compromising the image quality. Before you start to think that it is the negatives, note the negatives have been stored in a dark atmosphere controlled area in sleeves to protect against dust and scratches.
This is simply not the potential goods the retailer is stating it to be. After scanning in 4 sets of images the results are continually the same. Too heavy on the cyan & yellow. Changing the exposure setting does not help the image.
My recommendation is this goods is Ok with slides if you are not intending to use them for pro purposes. It is not suitable for scanning in photo negatives from 35mm film.
